My Family Holiday In A Dorset Cottage

September 28, 2009

I latterly got back from a 2 week holiday in Dorset. We had resolved that rather than inspecting the beach of the Costa Del Sol, we would save some cash, take a chance with the United Kingdom’s weather conditions and travel to the picturesque beaches of Dorset. It would seem that I was not the only one as Bournemouth beach was packed and with everything the region has to offer, it is no surprise.

This was one of the reasons I decided that my family and I would rent in a Dorset holiday cottage instead of a hotel. This meant we were fortunate enough to be able to stay in a home where we found we were comfortable and free to do what we want. The holiday cottage was as well a fantastic base from where we were able journey to the localized tourist sights easy. We were lucky enough that our country cottage was placed under thirty minutes away from all of these attractions.

The holiday cottage we remained in was near to a country pub that we frequently attended, where we gained a friendly relationship with the landlord. We found out from the pub landlord that holiday cottages were widely common in the country and that he frequently met travellers such as us that stay in them. If you are thinking of going on Dorset holiday then I would urge you into living in a holiday cottage in Dorset.
